December Update

December brought snow, in crazy amounts. In the course of the a week we got close to two feet of snow. 

The start of December saw the winter carnival in Fairview where the dogs give rides for free to the public, it was a great event and we got to share the dogs with many people.

a few days later disaster stuck, Pumpkin's foot was injured. Requiring more the 50 stitches, to reattach the skin on her foot. the vet was unsure if they would be able to save her foot, and if they could what her long term prognosis would be. 

three weeks flew by with a daily routine of puppy pen cleaning, bandage changing and medications. As the month came to a close we where delighted with the news the vet figured pumpkin would make a full recovery and will be able to run again. the two litters of puppies where growing like weeds and life was getting back to normal.
