September saw the creation of new pens and the re-graveling of the older pens. We expanded the pens creating an additional 9 pens. September also is the start of fall training for the sled teams, starting with quad and cart.

What a crazy month august has been!

With the arrival of Spirit and Jett's Babies via C-section and the complications spirit had the beginning of the month was crazy. We are so thankful to all our amazing family members and friends that cam up to help us when Spirit and her pups needed around the clock supervision in there first week of life. One phone call and we had nine more people up helping look after mom and babies, along with our other dogs. It was amazing feeling knowing we have so many people we can call on when needed.

As the month started to draw into its close we went on a road trip to Vancouver to pick up two new additions. Brother and Maverick have Joined up from Kristari Siberians out of the US. so excited to add them to the kennel.  

July is a quiet month for us here at Whirlwind kennels. Even though we are quiet we still have fun, the dogs got to learn a bunch of new tricks. We Attended a seminar to improve our handling skills and showed in the supermatch. Jett was a rock star earning a group 4th and a best Veteran in Match. Now we are on puppy watch. 

June saw many exciting things here at Whirlwind Kennels. We continued our pen expansions and building of new play yards.
